The Brain's hub design is heavily influenced by the Dalek shells of Dr. Who fame.

J. Torres's Hurricane Katrina Relief Auction Posted by K on September 12, 2005 @ 12:21 pm EST - Link
The Bendis Board is putting on a charity auction to raise money to donate to the Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief, and the lovely J. Torres is participating! What's he auctioning, you ask?
Says J., "This is the first of three auctions I'm contributing signed comics to, and another one will have an original TTG page signed by Todd Nauck."
This particular auction contains:
Teen Titans Go #18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 published by DC Comics plus a Teen Titans coloring book and two chapter books ("Raven's Secret" and "Blinded by the Light") published by Scholastic. The comics are all-ages appropriate and the chapter books are recommended for ages 6-8. (auction link)
Each and every one of these is signed, written, and donated by J. Torres.
Show your support for relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina by donating, spreading the word about this auction, or finding your local Red Cross chapter and finding out what you can do for them.
This particular auction will end Thursday, September 15th at 9pm, so don't wait!
In other "Teen Titans Go!" news...there's a slight prize change for the TTG Comic Give-away. The prize is now an autographed "Teen Titans Go!" digest book (collects 5 issues) due to supply reasons.

New Season 5 episode titles revealed! ("Homecoming", "Trust", & more) Posted by Butch on September 9, 2005 @ 11:01 am EST - Link
Boy, do we have an update for you.
TitansGo.net has received the titles and order of eight Season 5 episodes from a source close to production. The new season will have the usual 13-episode count, so keep in mind that this is not a full list. Season 5 kicks off in November with the two-parter "Homecoming" ... followed by "Trust" ..... "For Real" ..... "Snowblind" ..... "Kole" ..... "Hide and Seek" ... and "Lightspeed", then the rest of the season in that order. Barring any scheduling changes, of course. Here's a rundown on what has been revealed so far for a few of these episodes:
- 501/502 - "Homecoming" (Parts 1 & 2): it was recently reported by Comics Continuum that Season Five opens with a two-parter featuring Beast Boy and the Doom Patrol (Mento, Elasti-girl, Robotman, Negative Man). We've been told that "Homecoming" will be the title for both these parts.
- 504 - "For Real": revealed by IMDB way back in March to feature a new villain named Le Blanc (based off French thief Le Blanc of the 1960s Teen Titans series), Control Freak, Titans East, and Silkie.
- 505 - "Snowblind": reported by Animation Insider to introduce Red Star, a new Titan who hails from Russia. Red Star dates back to the 1960s Teen Titans series, and wields power he received from a mysterious alien craft that crash-landed in his country.
- 506 - "Kole": we've been told that this episode features (well, clearly) new Titan Kole. As hinted at during San Diego Comic-Con, expect her to be accompanied by Gnarrk, another new Titan. Both Kole and Gnarrk hail from classic Teen Titans stories: In the comics, Kole's ability to form crystalline objects from thin air resulted from her parents' experiments, which her father ran in order to bestow humankind with a way to resist nuclear devastation. Kole eventually died during the DC Universe crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths", in which other classic DC characters met their demise (most notably the first Supergirl). Gnarrk was a regular prehistoric caveman who was accidentally transported to the Titans' present time. He became close to a psychic Titan named Lilith (who he ended up marrying), and eventually learned how to live among civilized society with help from the team. Sounds crazy, we know. We can't wait to see these two either.
- 508 - "Lightspeed": we reported way back in May that "Lightspeed" will introduce the much anticipated Kid Flash, a Titan gifted with super-speed. Kid Flash was one of the original "Fab Five" from the 1960s series and co-founded the first Teen Titans team. We had word that "it should be very obvious which Kid Flash it is, much more so than Robin". So for this Kid Flash's identity, tune in when "Lightspeed" airs.
Stay tuned for more Season 5 news as it comes. And don't forget, the two-part "Homecoming" kickstarts it all this November.
CN's Teen Titans teaser clips for Season 5 Posted by Butch on September 7, 2005 @ 12:29 pm EST - Link
Cartoon Network has been running two different teaser clips that give peeks at new series episodes, including Teen Titans Season 5. The Teen Titans segments show Hot Spot attacking two Robins (who appear to act independently of each other), and the Doom Patrol (specifically, Mento and Robotman) fighting alongside the Titans. Thanks to UJoF and Ravenstar, we have videoclips and screenshots for both of these teasers available for download.
The videos promise Season 5 of Teen Titans to premier in Fall 2005 (specifically, November). Let's hope that means sooner instead of later, as the new season will bring us the Doom Patrol, Brotherhood of Evil, and of course a bunch of new Titans heroes!
