WB Animation Studio's celebration this week (also: 'Brave & the Bold' gets a TTG touch) Posted by Butch on April 5, 2009 @ 6:15 pm EST - Link
This Tuesday, April 7th starting at 6:00 PM, Warner Bros. Animation will host their "Animation Celebration" event at the WB Studios in Burbank, California. The event is free and open to the public, and will feature many things including: appearances by Teen Titans producer Glen Murakami, Bruce Timm (JLU, Batman: TAS), and James Tucker (Legion of Superheroes, Batman: Brave and the Bold), prize give-aways, as well as lessons from the studio animators on how to draw character favorites.
The celebration will cover "nearly 80 years of classic animation with the public unveiling of the new Warner Bros. Animation billboard (the first such update in 15 years), featuring beloved characters from Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera and DC Comics." Fans are encouraged to dress up as DC Comics super heroes, as well as other Warner Bros. animated characters.

EDIT (4/08/09): Next Titans-related characters up at bat? Batman will be teaming up with the Doom Patrol (including Beast Boy!) in issue #7.
In related Teen Titans animated news, "Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres's second issue for new DC Comics series "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" (issue #6) has been solicited. The series is, of course, based on the new animated series of the same name. And it's pretty awesome... everyone should check it out if they're not tuning into it already. "Outrageous!"
So how is this TT related? Aside from a current Teen Titans member appearing (Kid Eternity), the Kid and Batman will face off against... General Immortus. Says J. Torres, from his blog: "Teen Titans Go fans take note, General Immortus is only the first Titans-related character I've included in my run..."
