Red X gets a hot ride in "Revved Up"! (see it in the Official Art gallery) Posted by Butch on November 27, 2005 @ 4:19 pm EST - Link
We have several pieces of production art for a vehicle that will be seen in the upcoming episode "Revved Up", designed by prop designer Norm Ryang. Mysterious super-thief Red X will be racing in the episode, so he gets his very own motorcycle! As usual, it can very well put Robin's own ride to shame. Check out the incredible looking Red X motorcycle and judge for yourself:
Very awesome. These production designs and much more can be found in the Official Art gallery, which is regularly updated.
"Revved Up" airs December 10th @ 8:00 PM, described as follows:
Robin's most prized possession is stolen by the hip hot-rodder Ding Dong Daddy, and to get it back they're going to have to beat him in a cross-country road race. But with Ding Dong Daddy making the rules and a few unexpected rivals joining in the competition, it's anyone's guess who will cross the finish line first!
More production art stuff! TTG writer J. Torres gave us a heads up about a Cyborg style sheet used for the upcoming Teen Titans videogame by designer Johane Matte. The Cyborg sheet is a followup to the Beast Boy one he posted awhile ago. Check em both out here at JTorresOnline's forum:
Also, expect to see Johane join the TTG crew for an upcoming "Teen Titans Go!" issue!
Season 6 officially axed (and: sneak peek at TTG #25) Posted by Butch on November 23, 2005 @ 7:23 pm EST - Link
TitansGo.net was informed last night by a production crew member that Season 6 of Teen Titans is officially cancelled.
There are still no given reasons for the decision, so we still insist that fans continue to mail their thoughts to Cartoon Network, support the show by buying its merchandise, and show their love of Teen Titans in any way else they can. Nothing is ever 100% certain, and you can't keep a good thing down for long.
Once again, Cartoon Network's address to send your letters to is:
Cartoon Network
1050 Techwood Drive
Atlanta, GA 30318
Let's keep it up!
TTG writer J. Torres informed us that he's posted preview scans from "Teen Titans Go!" #25 (Christmas story with Billy Numerous guest-starring) on his JTorresOnline forums.
The issue (titled "Secret Santa") doesn't come out until November 30th, so check the pages out for an advance look!
Exclusive TTG artwork by Todd Nauck (and: Nightwing in TTG) Posted by Butch on November 19, 2005 @ 12:39 pm EST - Link
"Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres gave us a heads up about new exclusive comic art over at his JTorresOnline.com forums ... "switched Titans" designs drafted by TTG artist Todd Nauck (as seen in "Teen Titans Go!" issue 24, "Power Failure")! So far, Beast-Boy-as-Raven, Cyborg-as-Beast-Boy, and "Raven the Girl Wonder" are up and looking great. Check them out here:
J. will be updating that post with the rest of Todd's "switched Titans" character designs, so keep an eye out for em.
In related news, look for Nightwing to make an appearance in an upcoming issue of the show-based "Teen Titans Go!" comic series! For cover images, info, and scanned preview pages for all available issues of TTG, check our Comic Guide.
Teen Titans CCG series 2 in stores (and: more ways to "Save Teen Titans") Posted by Butch on November 17, 2005 @ 4:24 pm EST - Link
Bandai's Teen Titans CCG ("collectible card game") Series 2, "Enter Titans East!", is now available in stores. This game extension features Titans East, as well as "Gadget" cards that add new dimension to the system's gameplay.
For more info, visit Bandai's Teen Titans CCG Official Site.
On the subject of merchandise...
Another way fans can help save the show from being cancelled is simply...buying Teen Titans stuff.
It may sound shallow, but the "Dollar vote" carries alot of weight. Cartoon Network is still a corporate organization like any other, with the bottom line always in mind -- thus reason for tons of licensed products. Buying Teen Titans merchandise (toys, comic books, videogames, cards, etc.) is an effective way to show the corporate side of Cartoon Network that Teen Titans is still very much worth keeping...not to mention alot of the stuff is cool to begin with. If you love the show (and you do), please show your support by buying Teen Titans stuff when you can. If sending letters to CN has any effect on swaying their decisions, purchasing Titans stuff (and therefore funding interest) will definitely have even more.
Merchandise such as toys, "Teen Titans Go!" comics, DVDs, books and more can be bought through our "Merch" sections, as well as from the very up-to-date Ty's ToyBox. So if you are able, please pitch in your "dollar votes" to save Teen Titans from cancellation!
Teen Titans cancelled? Posted by Butch on November 16, 2005 @ 3:52 pm EST - Link
As many of you've probably heard from Animation Insider, the show's chances of getting renewed for a 6th season are dismal. Fans are being urged to send letters to express their support.
Mailing hand-written letters to Cartoon Network stating your concerns about the show being cancelled may go a very long way to changing their minds. Therefore, we urge any and all Teen Titans fans to further the cause and send their thoughts to Cartoon Network, as well as getting the word out to anyone you know. Don't let the best show on CN end before its time.

As for why the show is getting cancelled, we can only hazard a guess. AWN reported awhile ago of a massive layoff among the Warner Bros divisions which may've delayed a season pickup. TitansGo.net has also heard from production sources that Cartoon Network simply has little interest in keeping the series. The reason may be more than most know, and sadly, production crews tend to be last to know about their shows being renewed. We will keep you updated on the situation as we find out more, as well as further ways fans can help.
In other news, TVShowsOnDVD.com reports that Teen Titans will be getting Season DVD sets. The "Teen Titans - The Complete 1st Season" DVD will be available in stores February 7th, 2006.
