Calling all Titan cosplayers: the Teen Titans Halloween Costume Contest has returned! Last year's was loads of fun, so we're bringing it back.

How to Enter:
Send a photo of yourself wearing a Teen Titans-related costume to contests@titansgo.net. You can be anyone from the Teen Titans universe...hero or villain, animated or from the comics. Don't feel limited to store-bought Teen Titans costumes, either. Creativity and fun will be rewarded!

The deadline is November 5th, 2007. Once over, we'll post a gallery of all the costume photos we received, and our favorite picks will be announced to receive prizes! Good luck to everyone, and have fun!

Halloween is just a week away, promising a trick-or-treating and costumes funfest for all. If you didn't get a Teen Titans costume last year and have the urge to go Titan-ing this time around, Amazon.com will be your best bet:

- Order Teen Titans costumes (Amazon.com)

They still have all five Titan costumes available, and in various sizes. Every purchase made through our site helps to keep it going, so thanks for any support. Happy Halloweening, Titans style!

Karl Kerschl, the artist for the upcoming "Teen Titans: Year One" mini-series, recently posted a 3 page preview for issue #1 on his blog. The pages are from the finalized version of the issue, which were also printed in this week's Previews comics catalog. Very awesome artwork, check it out.

Teen Titans: Year One #1 kicks off a 6-issue mini-series, which will be written by Teen Titans animated story editor Amy Wolfram. Every new bit revealed about this anticipated series makes being patient harder, especially with excellent and stylish art from Karl. Don't miss picking up issue #1 when it comes out on January 2nd, 2008.

Very nice news regarding "Teen Titans Go!" #51 (aka. the Terra origin & Geo-Force issue): TTG writer J. Torres mentioned on our forums that the issue's story will take place after the events in the last episode "Things Change".

This will likely have a big effect on how Terra's brother Geo-Force will react to the Titans. Keep an eye out for TTG #51 when it hits stores on January 16th, 2008!

At last, the animated Terra will be getting an origin treatment, TTG-style!

DC Comics released their solicits for January 2008 yesterday, revealing that Terra will be the focus of "Teen Titans Go!" #51, thus rounding out the "Teen Titans Go!"-styled origin stories for the main team (despite what some fans may think of the character's affiliation). TTG #51 will also feature the series debut of her brother Geo-Force, who never appeared in neither the animated series nor "Teen Titans Go!" until now.

Description: Introducing Geo-Force! He's Terra's big brother and he looks like big trouble! What happens when he thinks the Teen Titans are the enemy? Find out in "The Secret Origin of Terra"!

"Teen Titans Go!" #51 will be in stores on January 16th, 2008. Head over to our forum's TTG #51 discussion and join in the anticipation.

Another major Titans comic also arriving in January is the long-awaited "Teen Titans: Year One" #1, written by Teen Titans story editor/writer Amy Wolfram ("Calling All Titans", "Things Change") with awesome art by Karl Kerschl. The issue comes out on January 2nd, 2008, and will kick off a 6-issue mini-series.

Description: Writer Amy Wolfram (Teen Titans animated series) joins rising star artist Karl Kerschl (ALL-FLASH #1, ROBIN) for a colorful reimagining of how the Teen Titans came together! See how these teammates bonded, and overcame the sheer awkwardness of being teenagers in this explosive 6-issue miniseries that guest-stars the Justice League of America! You may think you know Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash and Aqualad...but you don't really know the original Teen Titans!

Mark your calendars for this. With a great story-teller and incredibly cool art, Amy and Karl's take on the original "Fab Five" Titans' beginnings (from a band of sidekicks into a real team) promises to be something special.

"Teen Titans Go!" has been saved, thanks to fan power!

"Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres first broke the big news at his JTorresOnline forums, and confirmed it today with the official announcement on his blog, allowing fans of the show-based TTG comic series to breathe a huge sigh of relief:

"I have been told that I can now confirm that Teen Titans Go will continue its present monthly schedule until #54. This brings us to April 2008. After that point, TTG is supposed to continue but perhaps (note: perhaps) in a different format and most likely at a different frequency, but we don't know what the new release schedule will be (bimonthly, quarterly, etc.).

In any case, you did it. You saved the comic book. Yay, TTG fans!

And now might be a good time to send in those thank you cards and letters to Dan DiDio, Jann Jones, and Paul Levitz"

Due to the tremendous show of support from fans (ie. tons of letters to DC, and not to mention the passionate mob at the Chicago con), it seems TTG is no longer threatened by cancellation! The news J. brings of a different format for the series is an interesting decision on DC's part, one that will hopefully propel TTG to even greater success. Congrats to J. and the rest of the TTG crew...and of course a huge thanks to everyone for their tireless efforts and support. "Teen Titans Go!" has been saved!
