"Teen Titans Go!" artist Todd Nauck has added another sweet looking notch to his TTG-styled DCU Titans. Click here to see Todd's animated rendition of the new Titan, Zatara!
Zachary Zatara is DCU magician Zatanna's cousin and has similar powers (invoking magic by pronouncing effects backwards), and was just briefly a Titan member in Geoff John's Teen Titans series. Todd's TTG'd Zatara brings out the character's obnoxious personality pretty well. Check it out and leave him your thoughts!
TitansGo.net interviews J. Torres (also: TTG #36 sneak peek & TTG'd Kid Devil!) Posted by Butch on October 22, 2006 @ 11:28 pm EST - Link
This month, we got a chance to sit down and talk to "Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres, in honor of the show-based comic's 3rd year anniversary. We grilled him on his work on TTG, what and who is coming up, and lots more. Behind-the-scene details and issue spoilers are revealed, as well as a rundown for the next several issues. A Batman:TAS homage story, Season 5 character debuts, and new characters, anyone? Click the link below and read on:
Marking its 3rd year, TTG at last debuts the only "Fab Five" Titan member to not show up in the animated series. It's been a long wait, but Wonder Girl finally makes the scene in "Teen Titans Go!" #36 (entitled "Troy", with a cover designed by TT producer Glen Murakami!), to be available in just three days (October 25th).
JTorresOnline has a 4-page preview, which you can view by clicking here. A Gordanian invasion, Titans all around the world are kidnapped, and Robin calls in Wonder Girl. Quite a debut for the Amazonian wonder.
"Teen Titans Go!" artist Todd Nauck has added another animated version of a DCU Titans member. Kid Devil was a recent recruit to Geoff Johns' "Teen Titans", so there was hardly a chance to see him in the show, but who knows as far as TTG goes? Click here to see Todd's TTG-styled Kid Devil: new Titan and Blue Devil's sidekick.
"Tokyo" DVD press release (also: lost Give-away entries; TT GBA sequel now out!) Posted by Butch on October 21, 2006 @ 11:15 pm EST - Link
Warner Home Video made a press release this week, regarding the "Trouble in Tokyo" movie's DVD. The announcement confirms the DVD's February 6th street date as reported by earlier sources. It also confirms DVD spec details and the two main bonuses ("The Lost Episode" half-length special, and a "Robin's Underworld Race Challenge" game...could the latter be a tie-in to the "Tokyo" biker scenes?).
So, we've got a final release date at last! Click here to read the press release at TvShowsOnDVD.com
There was a blunder. For those who recall, the site had a server change three days before the deadline for last month's Season 2 DVD Give-away. Due to the chance that entries sent may've been disrupted by it, we extended the deadline by 3 days for people to resend if they didn't receive confirmation. Several days ago, we got word that three fans' artworks got lost in the shuffle, so we've updated the entries gallery to include them. Our apologies to the missing artists, thanks for bearing with us!
Those that were missing: "Teen Titans Forever" by Michelle Brown, this Titans team drawing by Sarah K., and last but not least, the Titans team once more drawn by Rebecca L.
Earlier this week, Majesco's "Teen Titans 2" Gameboy Advance sequel was shipped to stores (delayed from its initial Sept. 12th release date). On the publisher's official site, you can read their press release, announcing the game's release and description. Thanks to TitansGo.net forum member "Homestar14" for alerting us to this!
The "Teen Titans 2" videogame is now available at Amazon; click here to order the game, which'll help this site out in the process!
Titans story editors take on the Fab Five, and Legion! (also: TTG artwork updates) Posted by Butch on October 17, 2006 @ 10:05 pm EST - Link
Lots of various news today from the animated TT story editors, and "Teen Titans Go!" artists. Let's start off with something exciting:
In an interview with Dan Didio (DC exec. editor), Newsarama reports: "In 2007, the publisher will launch five Year One miniseries, each one designed to streamline, clarify, or emphasize the start of a character(s) who will be playing major roles in the months to come." One of the mini-series will focus on how the original Fab Five team (Robin, Speedy, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Aqualad) came together, written by none other than Teen Titans story editor Amy Wolfram! Here's a list of the Year One mini-series for 2007, with writer & artist credits:
Green Arrow: Year One by Andy Diggle and Jock
Metamorpho: Year One by Dan Jurgens
Teen Titans: Year One by Amy Wolfram and Karl Kerschl
Black Lightning: Year One by Jen Van Meter and Cully Hamner
Huntress: Year One by Ivory Madison (writer) and artist TBA
We can't wait, bring on the new year! Didio explains what's in store for "Teen Titans: Year One", which you can read in the full interview here.
In an interview with Rob Hoegee (Teen Titans & Legion story editor) conducted by Comic Book Resources, Rob reveals much about his and producer James Tucker's intentions for "Legion of Super Heroes", what decisions were made, what's coming up, and much more. He also notes that the script for Legion's Season 1 finale (a 3-parter) was split between himself, and fellow Teen Titans story editors David Slack and Amy Wolfram. Both David and Amy have written scripts for other Legion episodes as well.
It's an interesting read and may surprise those following the show. Click here for the full interview.
"Teen Titans Go!" artist Todd Nauck posted a new TTG-styled version of a comicbook Titan that never got the animated treatment, over at Comic Bloc. Check out Todd's take on an animated Flamebird! Looking good, Bette. Take a look at Todd's other TTG-styled Titans there too if you haven't yet, and leave him your thoughts.
"Teen Titans Go!" site JTorresOnline has more cool behind-the-scenes artwork as their latest exclusive: 5 pencilled pages for TTG #16, drawn by TTG interior artist Mike Norton. The issue featured Starfire rescuing a baby Wildebeest in the middle of a shopping mall. Head on over to check those original pencilled comic pages out.

No word on additional bonus features, other than the half-length "The Lost Episode" special and an interactive "Robin's Underworld Race Challenge" game that were reported back in June. Stay tuned for updates as they come.
George-Perez.com spotted a cool take on the animated Teen Titans, as drawn by comic artist and icon Jim Lee! Check it out at his blog: an inked Teen Titans drawing he did as a birthday gift for one of his kids. Pretty awesome gift from the pretty awesome Jim.
"Trouble in Tokyo" DVD in February? Posted by Butch on October 11, 2006 @ 9:25 pm EST - Link
Some news regarding the "Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo" DVD:
TvShowsOnDVD reports that it will be released on February 6th, 2007.
This is alot closer to the March '07 date we reported back in July, but why Warner Home Video plans to release it so late after the movie's television premiere is unknown. It's a much longer wait than November, as last announced, but here's hoping this release date change to February is the last.

"Teen Titans Go!" artist Todd Nauck's been drawing up a storm over at Comic Bloc's forums. For starters, he posted his awesome TTG versions of Teen Titans comic characters that never got the animated treatment, including Superboy (original YJer, Kon-El!), Lilith, and Ravager (Rose Wilson). Todd also recently added his take on the animated Terra wearing her old costume from Marv and Georges' "The New Teen Titans" comic series. Click the links to check them out. Those are some great looking Titans!
- Superboy in chibi form - Lilith TTG-styled - current Ravager TTG-styled - Terra in her "The New Teen Titans" costume In other TTG news, it appears that "Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres may be writing for DC Comics' upcoming "Legion of Super Heroes" animated comic series! Plans for a "Legion" animated comic were confirmed by several sources some time ago, and with J. adding a new "Legion" comic section to his JTorresOnline forums for discussing the new project, things are looking up! Hopefully an official word on it comes soon.
