Preview for TTG's final issue! (also: Billy Numerous in mainstream DC title)

Excitingly, yet sadly, the time has come: Tomorrow, the final issue of the "Teen Titans Go!" comic series as we know it will be released.

"Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres has posted a five-page preview for TTG's final issue, #55! Taking it full circle with its cover art allusion to the series' first issue, "Teen Titans Go!" #55 will cover an incredibly expanded legion of Titans (as immediately shown in the preview), one last battle with their early foes the HIVE 5, and much more.

Click here for the TTG #55 preview pages, as well as J's parting words for the series. It has indeed been a wonderful title run, and we can't imagine it having any better a crew as J. Torres, Todd Nauck, Lary Stucker, and the rest of the "Teen Titans Go!' team. Many thanks to you guys for turning out issue after issue of an incredible and immensely fun comic for all us fans the world over. Extra props to J for being so gracious to us here at TitansGo. Everytime we had even the most minor request, you went and gave that extra mile. Congratulations TTG, but never goodbye!

Has Billy Numerous hit the big time in the mainstream DC Universe? Apparently so, as he appeared in last week's Catwoman #79, with Selina Kyle (Catwoman) returning home from the events of DC's "villain planet, Alcatraz-style" series, Salvation Run. She clashes with a certain thief wearing red and white who can split into many individuals. Thanks to TGN forum member Wakka Man for the notice.

Click here for scans of Billy's appearances in the issue, provided by the scans_daily comics community. With this appearance, Billy has joined the ranks of other animated Teen Titans characters specially made for the show who've popped up in pages of mainstream DC Comics titles. Others include Mas y Menos, and Cinderblock seen in Teen Titans. There've been other strong nods to the animated series: Beast Boy, Bumblebee, and others taking their animated counterparts' costumes and abilities, for example. Billy Numerous' significant appearance in Catwoman is yet another sign of how much the animated Titans have influenced DC's mainstream titles. Good job Billy, and you too Billy; here's to many more!
