Titans crew at NY Comic Con! (also: Glen's Ben 10 premiere events! & "Titans" #1 tomorrow) Posted by Butch on April 8, 2008 @ 10:34 pm EST
At this month's New York Comic Con, there will be several animated Titans and "Teen Titans Go!" folks showing up as event guests! The convention takes place next week Friday, April 18th - Sunday, April 20th at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. Click here for the convention's official site and details.
So far, the animated Titans and TTG folks appearing include: Slade's voice - Ron Perlman, TT story editor/writer Amy Wolfram, TTG writer J. Torres, and TTG artists Todd Nauck, Sanford Greene, and Sean "Cheeks" Galloway. It'll be a great chance to see some animated Titans and TTG faces before the long wait for San Diego Comic-Con, so be sure to give em all a visit if you're attending! Thanks to "John F/G" for the heads up about the guests.
There'll also be a screening and Q&A panel for TT producer Glen Murakami's revamp series "Ben 10: Alien Force" on Saturday, April 19th @ 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Click here for a full listing of New York Comic Con events and schedules.
It's almost here! Next week, Teen Titans producer Glen Murakami's series revamp, Ben 10: Alien Force, will premiere on Friday, April 18th @ 8:00 PM! After that, it will then be regularly scheduled for Saturdays @ 10:00 AM. And that's not all; to celebrate the big premiere, there will be a week-long schedule of events leading right up to it. Special programming will include the two Ben 10 movies, never-before-seen Ben 10 specials, behind-the-scenes features, and much more. These pre-premiere events start Sunday, April 13th, with special events each day until the "Ben 10: Alien Force" premiere. Of course, each event will be joined by Ben 10 episode marathons.
Cartoon Network's "Ben 10: Alien Force" promo videos reveal an entirely new side (and higher maturity level) of the Ben 10 universe, with alot of that Glen Murakami polish showing through. Don't like the original Ben 10 show? Mark your calendar anyway, "Alien Force" will be worth it.
Description: In Ben 10: Alien Force 15-year-old Ben Tennyson chooses to once again put on the OMNITRIX. He discovers that it has reconfigured his DNA and can now transform him into 10 brand new aliens. Joined by his super-powered cousin Gwen Tennyson and his equally powerful former enemy Kevin Levin, Ben is on a mission to find Grandpa Max, who has been missing. But Ben must first defeat the evil DNAliens, a powerful alien race intent on destroying the galaxy. Throughout the series, Ben will join forces with other young heroes to save the galaxy and his Grandpa Max while passing along his knowledge to a whole new generation.

The first issue of DC's "Titans" title hits stores tomorrow, reuniting the "New Teen Titans" team of the Marv Wolfman and George Perez era. Marv and Georges' Teen Titans served as the main infuence behind the animated series' Titans roster, as well as many episodes' stories and villains (ie. The Judas Contract, Terror of Trigon, the Brotherhood of Evil, etc.). Unfortunately, while Marv and George aren't working on this new version of their classic Titans, Judd Winick will be writing it with Ian Churchill and Norm Rapmund on artwork.
"Titans" #1:Someone or something is continuing its attack on anyone who's ever been a Titan, including Nightwing, Starfire, Donna Troy, Beast Boy and Raven. You won't want to miss this new startling chapter in Titans history that may forge a new team from the ashes of old, dead friends.
Check out a 5-page preview of "Titans" #1, provided by Newsarama. Pick up the issue to see familiar faces together again for the "first" time!
