 On his blog today, "Teen Titans Go!" writer J. Torres put up a 6 page preview for TTG #53, with pages from each story (it's another two-in-one issue).
J adds that the first story (with art by Joe Quinones) has a "Freaky Friday" twist for Beast Boy and Mento, while the second story (with art and co-plotting by Todd Nauck) has Kid Flash and Jinx facing off against new villains Kid Kold and Ice Kate. Kid Kold and Ice Kate character designs, if you recall, were previously put up by J. Torres right here. Check out that preview, then pick up "Teen Titans Go!" #53 when it hits stores this week on Wednesday, March 26th...just two days away! It's gonna be another fun one.  "Teen Titans Go!" guest artist Joe Quinones also posted on his blog a 3 page artwork preview for his part in TTG #53, the story with Beast Boy on a twisted Doom Patrol adventure.
Joe also has some great renditions of the animated Titans in his own style up (Cyborg, Starfire, Robin, and Raven so far), which you can find throughout his blog. Check em out! A TV heads up: Cartoon Network will be airing the Teen Titans movie "Trouble in Tokyo" this week on Friday, March 28th @ 10:00 AM (Eastern/Pacific timezones). It's another chance to get your Titans fix from CN and show them your support, as rare as they are these days. |
