"Trouble in Tokyo" score session photos (and: Robin the Toy Wonder, "Terra" mini-series, & more) Posted by Butch on August 6, 2006 @ 6:38 pm EST
It's a real hodge podge of Titans news today, ranging from "Tokyo" to DC series to "The Batman". First up...
Dynamic Music Partners (Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis, and Kristopher Carter), the group who provides musical scores for many DC Animated series such as Teen Titans, have put up photos of their scoring sessions for Teen Titans "Trouble in Tokyo" in their photo gallery. Check out Teen Titans producer Glen Murakami rocking out! The gallery also includes photos from scoring sessions for JLU, TT's "The Lost Episode", Batman Beyond, and more. View the photos gallery here.
This past Friday at the Wizard World Chicago event, Mattel's exhibit booth unveiled the addition of Robin to their "The Batman" action figure lineup. With the Boy Wonder joining the Dark Knight in the new upcoming season of "The Batman", new toys naturally weren't far behind. Comics Continuum has several photos of the Robin figure, and Dick (yes, it's him) is looking pretty good. Give them a look, and watch for Robin's debut (as well as Harley Quinn's and more!) on "The Batman" Season 4 this Fall!
JTorresOnline has "Teen Titans Go!" #33 pencilled panels by TTG artist Mike Norton as their latest site exclusive. The issue arrived just last week, and features the Titans battling it out on the baseball field (incidentally, YJ fans will remember TTG regular artist Todd Nauck's past series, "Young Justice", featured a similar story setup). Head on over and check Mike's original art out.
First announced at San Diego Comic-Con a few weeks ago during the Amanda Conner spotlight panel, is an upcoming mini-series from DC Comics featuring everyone's favorite Titan traitor, Terra! This new series will focus on neither Terra I nor Terra II, but instead a third version of the geomancing character. The writers handling it will be Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, with Amanda Conner on art (and redesign for the new Terra). This development has a few of us pretty excited, be sure to watch for it!
