Description:
Kid Flash and Mas y Menos run a circuitous race for charity around the world, but the speedsters can't help but make detours along the way to thwart some super villainy!
Notes:
The announcers for the worldwide race are named "Marv" and "George", as a nod to "The New Teen Titans" comic co-creators Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
In one page, Mas and Menos are referred to as "tornado twins", a reference to an actual DC Comics speedster duo by the same name.
Kid Flash makes alluding quips throughout the race, including references to the Speed Force (source of the Flash family's power), Road Runner, and more.
It's amusing to note that in this issue, Mas y Menos act true to their "positive" and "negative" symbols: Mas holds a positive outlook to everything, while Menos is portrayed as a more sullen, negative character.

It's another holiday with the Teen Titans! As if having to take on the mischevious magician Mumbo wasn't enough, things get really crazy when Starfire's pet Silkie gets a hold of Mumbo's magic hat!
Notes:
Inserted in this issue is a special 6-page Teen Titans comic story (featuring them teaming up with a dyslexic girl as part of a child education campaign by Schwab Learning). There is also a 4-page followup story on Schwab site SparkTop.org.
This issue's story, "Winterlude", is written in the poetic fashion of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas".
When Silkie wears Mumbo's magical hat, his first words are "Happy Birthday", as a nod to the story of Frosty the Snowman.
The Titans do battle in "Cardy Park", a reference to classic Teen Titans comic artist Nick Cardy.
