Background
With his super suit, Adonis is able to cause massive destruction. He tends to use this power to bully around others and make himself look superior. Take away his suit, and he reverts to his true self: a spineless weakling who depends on his suit for his threatening self image.

"The Beast Within" is the first time the Titans team encounters Adonis. After a brief fight and a one-on-one squaring off against Beast Boy, both he and the green Titan were doused with a chemical that triggered feral transformations in the host. Beast Boy and Adonis would each change into a violent "Werebeast" form whenever angered.

Although it was uncertain whether or not Adonis was permanently adversely affected by the chemical, his appearances in "Overdrive" in season four, and as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil in season five show that he, like Beast Boy, is back to normal.

As a member of the Brotherhood, he and Atlas were sent to attack and capture Pantha. Despite having pinned her, Pantha defeated the two villains and resurfaced in "Titans Together" where she once again attacked Adonis as he ran through the Brotherhood's hideout.

He, like the rest of the villains, is currently frozen in ice.

Personality
Cocky and vain, Adonis is always on the lookout to prove he is better than anyone else. He doesn't seem to have any real villainous motives beyond that, and keeps to petty crimes such as vandalism, terrorizing others, and theft.

Adonis' suit imbues him with immense strength, and this only serves to feed his ego. Underneath the hype and power though, lies a frail man who is unable to fulfill his threats once his suit has been disposed of.
